Indeed, there have never been more than eight opposition legislators in the body.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Read: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aziza.com.ng\/read\/past-presidents-of-equatorial-guinea-till-date\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"9324\">PAST PRESIDENTS OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA TILL DATE<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Prior to 2013, the Chamber was a unicameral legislature and was named the Chamber of People&#8217;s Representatives.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Electoral system<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The 100 members of the Chamber are elected by closed-list proportional representation in multi-member constituencies.
