This governmental agency was founded in 1993; The National Orientation Agency is under the umbrella of ministry of information.
Tt is charged with the responsibility of communicating governmental policies, staying on each other’s sides during public opinion, promoting patriotism, national and development of Nigerian society and has handled a lot of issues including non-governmental organizations and health.

NOA promote the spirit of dignity of labour, honesty and commitment of quality produce, promoting and consuming commodities of home-produced.
NOA also establish social institutions and framework for deliberate exposure of Nigerians to democratic norms and values for virtue, peaceful, united, progressive and disciplined society.
